mostly 35mm film photography series

I always have been fascinated by cameras as objects; my parents owned a heavy model that I was playing with: I would carry it around and snap at my reality (there never was a film inside the camera though…). I can still hear the characteristic sounds of the film advance lever and the shutter release. I guess I was always preparing myself for tuning in to my environment in this way.

Now I have my own machines…

I obtained many analogue cameras of various brands over the years but now I dwell mostly into the Lomography scene. I use a Diana Mini (currently the Superstar) and absolutely adore it! Indeed, these machines are light, virtually unbreakable and allow for the magic of multiple exposures…

Taking pictures is certainly a lot more than capturing an objective reality… it is also a land of magic.

This memorandi/vision-creating is complimentary to my work with words and sounds.
